Lock down lifted at Qld shopping complex

Police are reopening roads surrounding a Toowoomba shopping centre after reports two men were inside following a suspected break in.

Officers searched the Grand Central Shopping Centre after being called there shortly before 6am but resolved the incident “without any issue” at 8am.

Two men are now assisting police with their enquiries but no charges have been laid.

Cordons along streets including Victoria, Margaret, Little and Duggan are being lifted and the shopping centre is expected to reopen shortly.
