ONE man is dead and another has a hand wound following a shooting on the Central Coast this afternoon.
The 22-year-old was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics who rushed to Warner St, Wyong, but he died at the scene.
Another man, aged 28, was also treated for a gunshot wound and has been taken to hospital.
Police from Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command have shut down the intersection of Ithome St and Warner Ave as they scour the scene for evidence or bullet casings.
Afternoon bus services have been diverted away from the area.
A Westpac Rescue Helicopter landed in the car park of Wyong Memorial Swimming Pool to try and get immediate help to the men.
Police have swarmed the quiet neighbourhood and cordoned off the street.
