#F1 British Grand Prix: Martin Brundle taken to medical centre at Silverstone; Latest

The Sky Sports commentator is a stalwart of F1 with his grid walks legendary to fans of the sport.

But after a feature was shown on Brundle ahead of the British Grand Prix viewers were then told he felt unwell and was going to the medical centre.

Ross Brawn was due to give him a trophy for his broadcasting feats but that had to be cancelled last minute.

Concerned fans took to Twitter to express their well wishes to Brundle.

Chris Hayter tweeted: “Crikey Martin Brundle just taken to the Silverstone medical centre after feeling unwell. Let’s hope this isn’t too serious #BritishGP #F1.”

Alison Wade added: “How emotional to see @rossbrawnmercgp with that trophy for @MBrundleF1. Hope is ok. @SkySportsF1 #BritishGP #20yearsGridWalk #SilverstoneGP.”

And Simon Stone was in agreement saying: “All the best @MBrundleF1, we are going to miss you. Hope you get well soon buddy.”
