“There’s not a bad seat in the house.”
They were the words of Fremantle Dockers chief executive Steve Rosich in October when WA’s AFL clubs announced their membership prices for 2018 at Optus Stadium.
It seems the Dockers boss was given a bum steer.
While the vast majority of visitors were impressed with Optus Stadium on Sunday, not everyone went home happy.
Some football fans felt short-changed or deceived when they found their seats had views blocked by metal railing and supports.
Twitter user John Kirk sounded the alarm from the open day.
“Not a bad seat in the house,” Mr Kirk said at 9.30am.
