A BLAZE that tore through a deli in High Wycombe in the early hours of this morning left a damage bill of about $1 million.
Fire investigators are still trying to work out the cause of the fire to the deli and the attached private residence on Newburn Road.
The fire was reported at 4.12am and nine crews rushed to the scene. They had the fire extinguished by 6.50am.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the estimated damage caused was $1 million, which included stock.
St John Ambulance was also called to the fire. A spokeswoman said one patient was assessed and treated at the scene, but not taken to hospital.
