TWO fires south of Perth continues to burn out of control after dozens of firefighters spent most of the night fighting the suspicious blazes.
The fires were reported at 10.27pm on Friday night and authorities believe they were deliberately lit.
Aerial support was called in at dawn and more than 40 firefighters remain at the scene this morning, working to bring the slow-moving fires under control.
Port Kennedy resident Anthony Milnes said the fires were burning in scrub near The Links Kennedy Bay Golf Course.
At 9am a DFES advice alert remained for the fire, which is burning near Bayside Boulevard and the golf course.
DFES advises that there is no threat to lives or homes but there is a lot of smoke and people driving in the area should take extra caution.
