West Coast Eagles defeat Western Bulldogs by 51 points at Etihad Stadium for first win of 2018 AFL season

Captain Shannon Hurn led the way in the 18.13 (121) to 9.16 (70) triumph, finishing with a team-high 29 disposals to go with 10 marks.

High-flying forward Liam Ryan gave Eagles fans plenty to get excited about, booting three goals and reeling in his first speccy in the AFL.

Jack Darling (four goals, 11 marks) and second-gamer Daniel Venables (three goals) also stepped up in dual Coleman medallist Josh Kennedy’s absence.
