THE deputy principal of a South West high school was admitted to hospital on Wednesday after he was allegedly attacked by a student.
The incident at Busselton Senior High School was one of two in which school staff were allegedly targeted by students.
An Education Department spokeswoman said the injured staff member was taken to hospital but later released.
The spokeswoman said other staff stepped in to help the deputy before moving the teenager and other students away.
“A short time later, there was a second incident involving a different student who tried to physically hurt another staff member,” she said.
“Police are investigating the two incidents.
“The two students have both been suspended from school for the maximum of 10 days, and may face being removed from the school permanently.
