A TRUCK has careened into a pedestrian bridge at Mount Street in Kings Park.
A male driver, male passenger and several bystanders escaped injury when the truck, carrying excavation equipment, smashed into the bridge at 7.50am today.
Witnesses described “an almighty bang” when the vehicle drove through a garden and into the bridge.
One witness said it was lucky people could get out of the way in time.
“People could hear it coming so had enough time to get out the way,” she said.
