Police have launched a large-scale search, including a helicopter and the dog squad, for a young girl who went missing from her home in Sydney’s south this morning.
Jacinta Laverance, 11, was last seen about 7.30am wearing purple pyjamas at her Sylvania Heights home.
New South Wales Police, and the girl’s family, are concerned for her welfare and say her disappearance is “out of character”.
Jacinta lives at a house on Amaroo Street, and is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 172cm tall and slim build with blonde hair.
Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
