Barnaby Joyce Sunday Night interview: Vikki Campion’s hurt at ‘grey area’ comments “Barnaby is strongly pro-life”!!

If there was one moment in last night’s interview with Barnaby Joyce and Vikki Campion that made Australia cringe, it was the moment after the former deputy prime minister was asked why he threw his partner under a bus and said the paternity of the child was a “grey area”.“Yeah, well it was actually the decision we made together and we were trying,” Mr Joyce said.“I didn’t say ‘use the words grey area’,” Ms Campion broke in.“OK,” he said.“I was deeply hurt by the grey area headline, definitely,” she said.Mr Joyce made the comments in an interview after his February 22 resignation as Nationals leader, in which he slammed the coverage of his affair with his former staffer. He claimed neither he nor Ms Campion was contacted by media outlets that published a photo of her, heavily pregnant, to ask about paternity of the child.“They never even asked if it was Joyce’s bundle,” he said.
