A second body has been found in the search for four missing fishermen off the coast of Perth.
The four family members left for a fishing trip off Rottnest Island on Wednesday morning and had not been seen since, triggering a major air and sea search.
The body of one person was found yesterday afternoon west of Garden Island, about five kilometres off the coast, south of Fremantle.
Police today said a second body was found in the same area about 6:00pm last night.
There has been a preliminary identification of the bodies but no confirmation.
The men set off from Woodman Point near Fremantle in a 5.5-metre boat for an overnight fishing trip to the island.
No names have been released but police confirmed among the missing were the 50-year-old owner of the boat from the Perth suburb of Coodanup, his brother — believed to be aged in his 40s — the 24-year-old son of the boat owner and a 31-year-old man who was also a member of the family.
They were due back on Thursday but never arrived…
